Professional Experience

Mr. Aref is an associate with the firm.
His practice focuses on general and complex litigation (such as PAGA actions), FINRA arbitration, as well as labor and employment matters.

Mr. Aref has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases, which provides him with a wholistic perspective when handling sensitive and contentious legal issues. Mr. Aref has successfully first chaired multiple FINRA arbitrations and drafted successful motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment in federal court.

Additionally, Mr. Aref routinely advises clients concerning employment disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, misclassification, disability accommodation, wage and hour issues, non-compete agreements, state agency investigations, and compliance.

In his free time, Mr. Aref enjoys taking golf lessons, baking, tending to his plants, and playing with his incorrigible pup.
