Professional Experience

Bill Turner has decades of experience with complex litigation, including class actions, representative actions (such as PAGA actions), mass actions, and general business litigation. He also has significant experience practicing law in the finance and securities industry.
He has successfully defended and prosecuted hundreds of cases, winning 95% of the trials and arbitrations in which he was lead counsel. Mr. Turner’s victories include obtaining more than $12 million in relief for more than 150 senior citizens after a three-week class-action trial and obtaining a judgement for the defendant (a $0) after trial of class action claims with exposure of $50 million.
Mr. Turner has also negotiated significant, favorable settlements for his clients, including the settlement of a class action that the judge in the Complex Department of the Los Angeles Superior Court described as “extraordinary” and better than just about any other settlement he had ever seen for that type of case.
Mr. Turner has represented individuals, groups of people, nonprofit corporations, and small, medium, and large businesses, including Wells Fargo, TD Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, and AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
Mr. Turner is an avid golfer. He goes to his favorite golf destination, Bandon Dunes, as often as he can. He also enjoys craft beer, particularly Belgian-style ales.
